FAQ
Frequently asked questions
The questions every project starts with — answered plainly. If yours isn't here, the contact form below goes straight to the people who print the parts.
What file formats can I upload for a quote?
STL, OBJ, STEP, STP, IGES and 3MF all work. If your file is over 8MB, paste a WeTransfer, Dropbox or Google Drive link into the quote form instead of attaching it. Don't have a 3D file at all? Our 3D modeling team can build one from sketches, drawings or photos.
How fast will I get my quote?
Most quotes go out within a few business hours, and complex multi-part projects within one business day. The more you tell us up front — material, quantity, finish, deadline — the faster we can price it.
Do you offer shipping?
Yes — we ship finished parts throughout the continental United States, and we offer same-day courier delivery on qualifying orders in New York City and northern New Jersey. Full details are on our shipping page.
Can you really deliver a 3D print the same day in NYC?
For qualifying projects, yes. Send your file early in the day, and if the geometry, material and quantity fit a same-day window, we'll print it at our Newark facility and have a courier hand it to you in Manhattan, Brooklyn or Queens before end of business. Rush availability is confirmed on your quote.
Which 3D printing process should I choose?
What materials do you print in?
PLA, PETG, ABS and flexible TPU on the FDM side; standard, tough, clear and biocompatible resins for SLA; and Nylon PA12 for SLS. Each one has its own page in our materials library with properties and best-fit applications.
Is there a minimum order size?
No minimums. We print one-off prototypes just as happily as thousand-piece production runs — and repeat single parts are often where rapid prototyping clients start.
How much does 3D printing cost?
Price depends on material volume, process, finish level and turnaround. A small FDM prototype can cost less than lunch; a large-format SLA display piece is quoted per project. Upload your file and you'll get a firm number — quotes are free and carry no obligation.
Will you keep my design confidential?
Always. Uploaded files are used only to quote and produce your parts, are never shared publicly, and are covered by the confidentiality terms in our Terms of Service. If your project requires a signed NDA, mention it in the quote form and we'll countersign yours.
Do you take on projects outside New York and New Jersey?
Constantly. Local clients get courier speed, but files arrive from across the country and finished parts ship anywhere in the continental U.S. See every area we serve.
Can you handle large or oversized parts?
Yes — oversized models are sectioned intelligently, printed in parallel, and bonded and finished into a seamless single piece. That workflow has its own page: large scale 3D printing.
Do you offer accounts for companies that order regularly?
We do. Corporate accounts get a priority production queue, a dedicated point of contact and consolidated monthly invoicing — a good fit for agencies, product studios and firms with recurring part needs.
Ready to get started — or still have questions?
Either way we've got you: upload a file for a firm quote, or send the question the FAQ didn't cover.
